WOMAN: I see assistive technology as a tool, not as a magic cure or anything like that. It's — it's strictly, um, some tools in your toolbox.
MAN: If the student's not motivated, if the student's not willing to put in the work, the technology's useless.
WOMAN: Like anything else, it's how it's used and the way in which it's introduced and the way in which it's supported.
MAN: The ability to interact independently in the environment — to communicate, to be able to do things — is just tremendously powerful.
