Congratulations to the 2008 NCTI Technology in the Works Awardees!

Five outstanding teams of researchers and vendors have been selected to examine the impact of innovative assistive technologies for students with special needs. This year’s winners represent a wide spectrum of research interests from instant messaging on augmentative communication devices to speech-enabled calculators for algebra students with learning disabilities. New OSERS Funding Opportunity to Improve Services and Results for Children Who Are Deaf-Blind

IES Releases Two Ed-Tech RFPs Through the SBIR Program

The Federal DUNS Number

Effective October 1, 2003, the Federal government adopted a policy requiring all grant seekers to submit for a DUNS (Data Universal Numbering System) number with all grant and cooperative agreement applications. Therefore, all subcontractors, vendors, and/or potential grant recipients should be sure to acquire this number, available from the credit and marketing firm Dun & Bradstreet (D&B).
