Whitney Donaldson

donaldson-whitney Whitney Donaldson is a Research Analyst at AIR and works on multiple Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP)-funded TA&D Centers, providing TA to states, districts and other interested stakeholders on special education related topics.  For NCTI, Whitney is responsible for coordinating the annual Technology Innovators Conference.  She has coordinated and conducted multiple worldwide conferences and meetings to facilitate knowledge sharing and has presented information at more than 20 professional conferences.  In addition, Whitney works on the National Center on Response to Intervention where she specializes in collaboration and information dissemination among researchers, practitioners, families, communities, and national organizations.

In addition to providing TA at the national level, Whitney has state and local level experience in the field of special education. She worked at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in the Special Education Planning and Policy Development office where she assisted districts in implementing special education policy and best practices.  Additionally, she has been a special education teacher in both middle and high school environments.
