American Heart Association and Nintendo for America for Active Play Now
Nintendo and the American Heart Association (AHA) have come together in a first-of-its-kind campaign, Active Play Now, to help people find fun ways to stay physically active. Both organizations realize the value and potential for greater impact through working together and have pooled their efforts on a larger scale, motivating consumers to partake in physically active play in their daily lives.

On January 12, 2011, the AHA and Nintendo of America hosted The Power of Play: Innovations in Getting Active, a multidisciplinary summit of thought leaders with unique perspectives from the divergent worlds of fitness, science, health care, research and video games convened to discuss and investigate the synergies and potential benefits of active-play video games and physically active lifestyles.
