GameTech 2011 Innovations in DoD Gaming Competition

Team Orlando, a unique military collaborative alliance supplemented, supported and augmented by academic and industry leaders in the modeling and simulation, human performance, and training domains, urges game developers to submit papers detailing their innovative creation and use of games in the DoD environment for the Innovations in DoD Gaming competition.

Team Orlando, of which the Joint ADL Co-Lab is a member, is sponsoring the competition in conjunction with the Defense GameTech Users’ Conference, GameTech 2011.  The competition will publicize and reward the innovative use of game technology to accomplish realistic and effective military training.
 
Winner(s) will receive recognition at GameTech 2011, to be held at the Caribe Royale All-Suite Hotel and Convention Center, Orlando, Florida on March 22 – 25, 2011. They will also have the opportunity to present and/or demonstrate their winning product at ADL’s ImplementationFest 2011 in Orlando in August. In addition to conference recognition, one representative of the winning product will have their ImplementationFest 2011 registration fee waived. Travel expenses to the events remain the responsibility of the winning organization.
