Designing UDL Contest
The “Designing UDL” contest aims to give educators at all levels the opportunity to share how they put UDL principles into action. Submissions should describe how UDL has influenced you as a learner or as an educator. These submissions can come in a variety forms (text, audio, video, photo/drawing) and creativity is encouraged! Entries in four categories are eligible for prizes of up to $500.
Points to keep in mind:
- Entries must include a description that, in no more than 150 words, explains how your submission reflects what UDL means to you. This description can be typed, recorded or filmed.
- Only one entry per person.
- Entries must be original work.
A first place, second place and honorable mention winner will be chosen from each submission category (video, audio, text, and photo/drawing) by a panel of judges based on the following characteristics:
- Understanding of UDL
- Clarity of message
- Creativity
- Artistry
Viewers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite entry. A People’s Choice award winner will be determined based on the number of votes received by Thursday, January 20, 2011, 5:00 pm EST.
