A Web-based science game being designed to interest more girls in science and gaming technology won $200,000 in the MacArthur Digital Media and Learning Competition. The Carnegie Science Center’s Click!Online game will feature a fictional spy agency where girls can solve real-world challenges in environmental protection, “expressive technology” and biomedical science. “Senior agents” will act as online mentors and provide support for the girls in the critical-thinking and problem-solving skills needed to solve the mysteries.
