Senator Richard Durbin (D-IL), one of the original co-sponsors of the Americans with Disabilities Act, delivered a powerful, thought-provoking, and entertaining speech about the employment of people with disabilities at the Fourth Annual Tony Coelho Lecture in Disability Employment Law & Policy. Senator Durbin’s speech included a call for the federal government to do more, and a discussion of the importance of the ADA Restoration Act.
