Helping Our Children with Disabilities Succeed: What’s Broadband Got to Do With It?
Tags:Disability, EducationThe Children’s Partnership released a report on how children with disabilities use broadband and other technologies. The report shows while technology can open new doors for youth with disabilities, these children lack the access they need to put the technologies to use. The report concludes with a call to action around the following key areas:
1) Promote access to affordable broadband everywhere
2) Enforce existing laws and educate the public about them
3) Deepen the research on broadband’s value for and impact on all children
4) Ensure access to and training with accessible and assistive technologies

Do you make a tool for a wide market that exists now or for the potential market of improved access at some point later in time and keep advocating for improved access?
