I agree that it is a collaborative effort to continue incorporating assistive technology into the learning environment. We all play an important role to ensure that students have access to the best technology and that they are implemented correctly. This can’t be accomplished, however, without the willingness and perserverance of the student. I also agree that it is the responsibility of both educators and parents to encourage and suppport students so that they develop the skills and confidence to use assistive tools both in and outside of school. Everyone has to be on board.
