Eric Morrison

Faculty, Pima Community College

Mr. Morrison established the assistive technology infrastructure at Pima Community College (PCC). He has served as Lead Faculty-ADA/504 Coordinator, as a private consultant for disability program improvement and compliance, and has published numerous articles on disability issues and technology in Careers and the Disabled Magazine and for the Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD). He served two terms as President of the Arizona chapter of AHEAD and has won national and state awards for distinguished service to persons with disabilities. Mr. Morrison published the NCTI Innovator Profiles at www.nationaltechcenter.org/partnership/profiles8.asp. He now serves as Lead Faculty for Developmental Reading at PCC’s largest campus, teaching students with disabilities and other special needs. Mr. Morrison’s research interests include Human-Technology Interaction and “situativity” of assistive technologies in cognition, activity, and psychology.
